“BE BRAVE: What is one thought, one spark, one idea in your head that you think God may have put there? Write it down. (And at some point, do something with the spark!)”

The most recent idea God placed in my mind was about 15 minutes ago. I was driving home from Target (as one often is) and God told me to pull over at an overlook on Skyline Drive in Duluth.
I didn’t listen. At first. Then when I got home, I put my ice cream in the freezer, got back in my Subaru and drove up to the overlook.
That’s where I’m sitting right now (see pics, although they won’t do it justice). That’s the beauty of Duluth. You don’t have to work too hard for a view. You don’t have to work too hard to see the work that God has done.
Skyline Drive provides a view of almost the entire city plus across the bridge in Superior, WI.
I don’t always listen when God plants these ideas... I wish I would more often. I think more relationships would blossom if I listed to God telling me to text that person or to actually go to that thing.
By putting that idea in my head, God was inviting me to spend some really special and intimate time with Him, admiring His creation. He’s like “Kelly, I gave you this beautiful place to live. You’re surrounded by so much nature and beauty yet you so often choose to ignore it and instead watch the same Marvel movie for the 16th time.”
I think God invites us into these moments more often then we can even realize. We just have to listen.
Let your mind be quiet and invite God in.
