You Aren't A Mistake (100 Days to Brave - Day 8)

The journal prompt in this chapter is to remind someone you love that God doesn't make mistakes.

Friend, God doesn't make mistakes. Like at all.

You were made 100% who you were supposed to be. It took me a long time to grasp this concept. And even still to this day, I struggle with self-worth.

Probably why I struggled so much for so long is that I was looking soley into others in how I should feel about myself.

"Guys do you think I'm funny? Do you think I'm pretty? Should I lose weight?"

The questions could go on for days. I'm going to save you some time and energy: you will never feel fulfilled or validated by the recognition of others. And that is coming from someone who is on TV every single day.

Your recognition and worth ONLY matters with one entity and that is God. Everything else you can truly throw out the window.

Am I a sportscaster?

No, I'm a child of God.
