MY DREAMS/CALLINGS:
To be a light
God has called me to be a light and a magnet for people. Being a sports reporter has allowed me to connect with other humans in a very special way.
I am good at making people laugh... I mean... comedy is subjective but I regularly cause my mom to nearly pee her pants (sorry Jules).
To be a good sportscaster
I don't think God called me to be on TV to wear fancy clothes and for people to see my face. I think He gave me a gift of communicating that connects with people. I think this shows in my storytelling as well.
To be a wife/mom
ALRIGHT FINE I SAID IT. To be married is a desire of my heart. I want to be a mom as well. I love kids. SO MUCH. If you follow me on Instagram you would know that I am a regular poster of my little nieces and nephew aka my best friends in the whole wide world. I want both of these things but I know that God has a time and a place and I am DOING MY BEST TO TRUST THAT TIMING AS DIFICULT AS IT MAY BE AT TIMES.
P.S. ... I used to think it was taboo to speak of your singleness. Ladies (and dudes), IT'S OKAY TO BE SINGLE AND TO SAY YOU WANT TO BE MARRIED. God knows every desire of your heart, believe me. It's also okay to be single and enjoy being single and not put so much pressure on yourself to be one way or the other. THEN when that person DOES stumble their way into your life, it'll be the best surprise-blessing ever.
