What a person plants, he will harvest -- Galatians 6:7
Be Brave: Make a small decision today-- a conversation, a meal, an e-mail. Do one little brave thing and see how it changes your day.
I have anxiety. Which means my thoughts and my worries often get in the way of me actually doing things.
For example, I won't send a text or an e-mail because I let my fear of what that person on the other end is going to think of me get in the way.
I won't make a phone call because I am so terrified of how I am going to come across to the other person on the other end.
I used to dodge A LOT of these bullets. Because of fear.
But if I may let you in on my counseling journey for JUST a second (I've been doing therapy since June)... "so what" is what we've been adopting. "So what" if they think I am weird. "So what" if they don't like my tone. So. What.
For me, Kelly Marie Hinseth... often the brave things are the little things. Me sending a text telling someone how I truly feel. Confronting someone about how they hurt me, the list goes ON.
Being brave is speaking up. So today, as many butterflies and anxious thoughts as it may cause... I am going to do that brave thing.
I hope you do too!
