I think God is constantly surprising me in ways I can live out my calling. Usually it’s in the things that start out to be little and turn into something so beautiful and so surprising.
A lot of times that happens with stories that I do. He’ll give me this cool story with this cool person... and I’ll end up going and talking with this person and their people and it ends up being the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced.
I often find myself thinking “I could not have scripted that better myself.”
There are a few things that I am praying and seeking God’s wisdom on pretty hard right now. Some are work-related... and some are personal.
In both, I’ve tried to ask myself in every step “how can I live out my calling in this moment?”
If you ask yourself and God, usually the answer comes eventually. Those little tugs to send that message or to ask for that meeting turn into something you didn’t expect.
The further I extend into adulthood, the Lord shows me how much bigger the picture really is. I used to think everything was so monumental and consequential in those moments...
Now I realize the plan is wayyy bigger than I initially thought.
I thought I just wanted to be on TV. But the last three years, God has shown me how my feet have been called to the very position and posture that I sit in right now.
He called YOU to one too!!! One of my callings is to hopefully tell you about the life Jesus lived and died for you!!! :)
