Aside from being a sports broadcaster, I always wanted to live in New York.

The first movie I ever saw was “You’ve Got Mail” starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. You have no idea how much I dreamed of having a pretty apartment in a brownstone on the upper west side just like Kathleen Kelly. And maybe even run a children’s book store.

I have no idea at this point in my life if God still has that in store for me. I’ve been to NYC twice and each time more magical than the last.

My best friend Sarah and I always joke that we are going to move to Brooklyn into a studio apartment and have bunk beds.

It’s a dream that would probably put a lot of other dreams on the back burner... but every time I watch YGM, I can’t help but think how magical New York in the fall must be.
